Jefferson, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) The pool at a high school in Jefferson, Wisconsin remains closed after a student and gym teacher were injured when they were sucked through a broken underwater viewing window in the school's pool Wednesday.
Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the window to break.
We do know police are interviewing other students in the class in hopes of figuring out why the window broke.
The superintendent says they are focusing on providing counseling for the 25 students in the class and giving support to those injured.
He says the teacher was treated for minor cuts and bruises and was released from the hospital last night.
The student, a 17-year-old male was taken to a Madison area hospital.
His name and condition are not being released.
