A Russian poultry farm has dumped over one million baby chickens into the freezing cold and left them to die, citing financial problems as reason for the merciless culling.
The footage, which has made its way to the Internet, shocking viewers nationwide, revealed that many of the chicks were simply thrown out into the cold to die, while others were drowned in barrels.
Over one million birds have already been killed, while over three million await the same fate.
The management of the meat suppliers blamed the treatment on financial difficulties, arguing there were no funds to sustain the animals.
