800 Year Old Canoe Found in Lake Munson

Someone found it and left it.  It was removed yesterday (Dec. 1, 2010) by State Archaeologists.  It appears to be at least 800 years old.  It was found next to the new boat ramp near the park.  It is reported to be in extremely good condition.  There was a boat-able connection between SanLuis and the St Marks through Lake Munson.  Those who think Lake Munson is not a lake have new evidence to ponder.
