Shipwreck author, diver to talk at LDL on March 3

Author Valerie vanHeest will discuss her new book, "Lost on the Lady Elgin," at Loutit District Library on Thursday, March 3.

VanHeest is an award-winning author, exhibit designer and member of the Women Divers Hall of Fame. Her book reflects back 150 years to the worst disaster on the open waters of Lake Michigan.

The 7 p.m. program will be held in the library's Program Room A. VanHeest will have books available to purchase and sign following her presentation.
